Populations served:

Survivors of child abuse / neglect under age 18 years old in the Bronx and upper Manhattan .

  • Males.

  • Females.

  • Non-offending parents

  • Siblings

Fees for services:

Children and adolescents will be seen regardless of their ability to pay. Short-term counseling is free; referrals for long-term counseling are based on patients insurance and Medicaid provider.

Medical Services

  • Specialized medical and forensic interviews and exams are provided on site for the evaluation of sexual abuse, physical abuse, neglect and sexual assault.

Advocacy:

  • Criminal advocacy

  • Personal advocacy

Counseling:

  • Short-term individual

  • Long-term individual, depending on insurance or Medicaid provider

Other Services:

  • Information and referral services

  • Facilitate access to pediatric or adolescent medical clinic

  • Subspecialty referrals

Educational / Training Services

  • Training for the identification of child physical, sexual abuse and neglect for mandated reporters of child abuse is provided biannually

  • Community education

  • Professional trainings

Special Considerations

  • A multidisciplinary team consisting of the NYPD, Administration for Children's Services and the local District Attorney's Office coordinates investigations of child Sexual / physical abuse Language Bank available
