Populations served:
Survivors of child abuse / neglect up to age 21 in the Bronx and lower Westchester area including:
- males and females.
- non-offending parents
- significant others
Fees for services:
Some services as indicated below*. Insurance is billed when applicable or fee is waived.
Medical Services
- Specialized medical and forensic psycho-social exams for the evaluation of sexual abuse, physical abuse and neglect provided on site.
Advocacy:
Counseling:
- Short-term individual*.
- Group counseling for sexually abused children and their caretakers*.
- Telephone aftercare (follow-up).
Other Services:
- Information and referral services.
- Parenting groups.
Educational / Training Services
- Community education.
- Professional trainings.
- Parent education workshops.
Volunteer Opportunities:
- Aftercare Tracking / HFCPP.
Special Considerations
- A multidisciplinary team consisting of the NYPD, Administration for Children's Services and the local District Attorney's Office coordinates investigations of child sexual / physical abuse.
- Language Bank available.
